How we ship fish meal: packing, fumigation and documents explained
From kraft-lined containers to health certificates — everything that happens between loading and your import clearance.
A smooth import starts long before the vessel sails. This is the checklist we run on every consignment.
Packing
50 kg PP-laminated bags on pallets or 1 MT jumbo bags. Containers are lined with kraft paper and desiccants are added for long voyages.
Fumigation
Every container is fumigated by a licensed operator and a fumigation certificate is issued before loading.
Documents
- Commercial invoice & packing list
- Bill of lading
- Certificate of Analysis
- Certificate of origin
- Health / veterinary certificate
